Job Summary
OVERVIEW The Accountant will provide excellent accounting services to the company. The candidate will be responsible for delivering timely and accurate accounting services to our business unit(s) including incentive payment processing as part of the financial month-end close process.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Processing incentives payment against supporting documentation
• Recommend, develop and implement process improvements to improve accounting operational efficiency, quality of output and optimize synergies
• Monitors performance indicators to track progress against goals
• Performs various ad-hoc reporting, analysis or projects, as needed
• Prepare management accounts
• Fixed Asset management
• Revenue and cost accounting
• Supervise junior accounting clerks
• Other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting And or Professional qualification CA, ACCA, CIMA, etc
Knowledge/Experience/Skills
• Knowledge of current accounting concepts
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer service and business acumen
• Progressive accounting experience
• Ability to deliver accurate results in a fast-paced environment with attention to deadline constraints• Robust understanding of financial accounting systems
• Organize and prioritize multiple activities among a team with a high sense of urgency
• Capable of working within a changing environment with excellent analytical, planning and organization skills
