The Centre of Hope Nurse supports the satellite facilitate to attain its 95,95,95 targets through identification of new HIV positive clients, implementation of high yielding HIV Counselling & Testing services, enrolment into ART treatment, care and retention activities using messages of hope.


Job description


Offer HIV testing services through high impact evidence-based interventions; To scale up HIV Self-Test (HIVST) as a screening HIV test in selected post catchment areas targeting high risk populations (Key populations, STI clients, TB patients); Support HTS services for faith communities churches for religious communities using community posts model; Provide index testing for partners, children (families) of PLHIV, assess for IPV; Provide EID to HIV exposed infants and link positive infants to care; Mentor Peer Community Healthcare Workers (Faith Community Initiative Champions) on targeted HIV testing; Implement targeted approaches to reach men, adolescents and young people and implement strategies to ensure high viral load (VL) coverage, differentiated service delivery models (DSD), TB preventive therapy (TPT), cervical cancer screening coverage for eligible women LHIV; Initiate Quality Improvement activities as guided by data; Document in all relevant registers, support routine data collection, weekly and monthly timely reporting through the parent clinic; Managing HTS commodities and ART medicines needed during service provision.


Qualifications


Minimum of a Registered General Nurse qualification; HIV Rapid testing qualification a distinct advantage; Previous mobilizing, HIV testing, and M&E experience would be an added advantage; Good standing with the community being served is a must; Good knowledge of English and report writing skills required.
