The University seeks to recruit applicants with requisite skills and experience for the post in the Faculty of Engineering
Department of Chemical Engineering Applicants must have a BEng or BSc (Hons) or equivalent in Chemical Engineering/Process Engineering, MEng or MSc in Chemical Engineering. Holding or being currently registered for a PhD in Chemical Engineering/Process Engineering is an added advantage. Candidate should also have proven relevant industry and lecturing experience; Professional Board Registration is highly recommended. Evidence of scholarly contribution is required in the form of at least three (3) peerreviewed journal articles. The incumbent will be expected to teach Computational Modelling and Fluid Mechanics as well as supervise research and development projects in the Department. While all areas of Chemical Engineering research will be considered, preference will be given to candidates whose research is in the areas of Energy / Fuels, Process simulation and Nanotechnology.
