Description :
Applicants should be holders of an MSc in Sport Science, Exercise Physiology or Biokinetics Degree with relevant content for the post or an MSc/MPhil in Sport Science, Exercise Physiology or Biokinetics.
The candidate should have at 2 years’ work experience in an institution of higher education or a research institution. The applicant must be able to teach any two sport speciality modules with recognised national, regional or international coaching qualifications.
Experience in the assessment of students and supervision of research projects in area of specialisation, as well as curriculum development will be added advantages.
A PhD or a registration for a PhD in the relevant field will also be an added advantage.
The incumbent will be expected to be involved in teaching and practical training of undergraduate and postgraduate students in areas of Sport Performance Analysis, strength and conditioning, Sport Medicine and injury prevention related to sport.
Supervision of research projects in the area of specialisation will be expected.
