Qualifications and responsibilities
Applicants should be holders of an MSc in Applied Biochemistry or related area and be able to teach and conduct laboratory experiments and techniques in exercise physiology science and its related fields.
The applicant must be able to teach any two sport speciality modules with recognised national, regional or international coaching qualifications.
The candidate should have at least 2 years’ work experience in an institution of higher education or a research institution.
Experience in the assessment of students and supervision of research projects in area of specialisation as well as curriculum development will be added advantages.
A PhD or a registration for a PhD in the relevant field will also be an added advantage.
The candidate will be expected to be involved in teaching and practical training of undergraduate and postgraduate students in laboratory techniques in the Sport Science discipline.
