2.1.1 Agricultural Economics and Management Unit Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Associate
Professor/Professor (1 Post).
Duties
The applicant must be able to teach the following courses: Econometrics, Agricultural Production Economics, Agricultural Marketing, Macro-Economics for Agriculture, Micro-Economics for Agriculture and Mathematics for Agricultural Economics. The department reserves the right to allocate courses.
Qualifications
Applicants should hold a first degree in Agricultural Economics and a Master's degree in Agricultural and Applied Economics or Agricultural Economics. A PhD in an Agricultural Economics related field would be an added advantage.
Applicants must have a minimum of two years teaching experience at a tertiary learning institution or traceable industrial experience. Proven record of publications and ability to mobilise funds will be added advantages. The curriculum vitae (CV) should contain a detailed list of publications; clearly specifying titles of publications, journal names, volumes, page number details, dates published name(s) of publishers and names(s) of co-authors if any. Publications should be categorized into: books, monographs, refereed and non-refereed journals, chapters in books, etc.
