Responsibilities
To teach Land Information Systems/Land Management to both undergraduate and
postgraduate students as a major and also contribute to lecturing in related areas.
To initiate and conduct relevant approved research in their areas of specialization
and related subjects in line with Education 5.0

To participate fully in the Department and University Extension activities (Advisory
and Consultancy work)
Qualifications, Experience, and Attributes
A good first degree in Surveying/Geomatics or Equivalent
A PhD/Dphil degree in Surveying or equivalent specializing in Land Information
Systems or Land Management. Applicants with a relevant Master’s degree may
also, be considered.
At least two years’ work experience
Lecturing experience is an added advantage.
Membership in a recognized professional Institution is an added advantage.
A proven record of research publications.
