Responsibilities

 To teach Land Information Systems/Land Management to both undergraduate and

postgraduate students as a major and also contribute to lecturing in related areas.

 To initiate and conduct relevant approved research in their areas of specialization

and related subjects in line with Education 5.0

 To participate fully in the Department and University Extension activities (Advisory

and Consultancy work)

Qualifications, Experience, and Attributes

 A good first degree in Surveying/Geomatics or Equivalent

 A PhD/Dphil degree in Surveying or equivalent specializing in Land Information

Systems or Land Management. Applicants with a relevant Master’s degree may

also, be considered.

 At least two years’ work experience

 Lecturing experience is an added advantage.

 Membership in a recognized professional Institution is an added advantage.

 A proven record of research publications.
