Duties
Setup and Monitor server security policies (e.g. firewalls and intrusion detection systems) Monitor special services including but not limited to web services and emails services Taking frequent backs ups of data, create new storage procedures Oversee and develop strategies for failover Monitor availability and efficient functioning of all systems installed on both cloud and local servers
Qualifications
BSc Honors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent 3 years’ experience in a similar role Linux certification will be an added advantage CCNA certification will be an added advantage
