We are looking for vibrant and trailblazing individuals to join our team in the following
role(sReporting to the ICT Projects Manager, the successful candidate will provide essential
support to a project; working with the Project Manager and other team members to
achieve project success. A key component of the Project Officers’ roles includes
administrative and technological skills.
Key Outputs
• Closely monitor the project schedule deadlines for each project task reporting
any potential delays to the Project Manager.
• Identify any potential risks or issues that could affect the progression of the
project and communicate these to the Project Manager with a view to
develop potential solutions.
• Arrange project meetings for team members together with the Project
Manager to review progress and to discuss future steps.
• File and maintain crucial project documents which track project progress in an
appropriate database or library and ensure that all documents are accurate
and have been accepted by the Project Manager.
• Send out any relevant information to project team members before meetings
and take minutes during the meetings.
• Ensure all logistics (meeting venues, refreshments etc) are in place before
project team meetings.
Qualifying Requirements
• A degree in Business Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II/ Agile PM certification is a
must.
• 3 years prior experience as a project administrator or a related administrative
role.
Key Competencies and Characteristics
• Hands-on experience with flowcharts, technical documentation and
schedules
• Knowledge of project management software (e.g. Trello or Microsoft Projects)
• Solid organization and time-management skills• PMP / PRINCE2/ Agile PM certification is a plus
• Strong oral and written skills.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• High degree of initiative, dependability;
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills.
• Eagerness to work in a team environment.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Able to take initiativ
