Reporting to the ICT & Digital Strategy Executive, the successful candidate will be responsible for the information technology or communications project cycle from the planning stages through to the implementation of a solution. The manager assigns tasks, develops a timeline, and sets the budget for the project. Other responsibilities involve coordinating meetings between team members and monitoring their ongoing progress. This professional must ensure the team has resources available to complete tasks - which may include materials, outside services, or additional workers. Key Outputs • Lead and manage ICT projects and supporting specialist Project Teams, including operations, work programming, performance, change management and financial management. • Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and key stakeholders. • Provide direction and leadership to project team, including delegation and allocation of tasks. • Manage the work and priorities of the project team throughout the project lifecycle, defining appropriate products, standards and timescales in accordance with the agreed in-house project management framework, to ensure that the project delivers quality products to time and within budget. • Develop an in-house IT project management and governance framework including standardised project documentation templates. 2 • Lead the development of and assist clients with the development of quality requests and analysis of new system requirements and information requests. • Develop internal business reports including business cases, proposals and project plans, considering the business needs and the application architecture. • Monitor and review business requests, in line with established protocols, corporate priorities, ICT strategy and legislative requirements and implement procedures to improve the management of requests. • Carry out duties in accordance with NSSA’s safety, environmental and quality policy, safety principles, corporate values and strategies. Qualifying Requirements ▪ A Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience ▪ Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II/ Agile PM certificat ▪ Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II/ Agile PM certification is a must. ▪ 5 years, experience in project management work. Key Competencies and Characteristics ▪ Proven working experience in project management ▪ Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office ▪ Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills ▪ Strong oral, written and presentation skills. ▪ High degree of initiative, dependability. ▪ Eagerness to work in a team environment with strong interpersonal skills. ▪ Excellent organisational and time management skills.
