Reports to: Logistics & Fleet Assistant JF Kapnek Trust is a registered Private Voluntary Organisation, which has been operating in Zimbabwe since 1986. JF Kapnek Trust seeks to improve family health, reduce child mortality and create educational opportunities for children of Zimbabwe through the implementation of scalable sustainable programs. Key responsibilities Support IT services provision: Information Technology (IT) Service Operation and Support – receive, register, classify and ensure resolution of all IT service support requests; IT Service Availability Management - responsible for defining, analysing, planning, measuring and improving all aspects of the availability of IT services; Provide IT expertise to departments/programs that the organisation works with. (IT as a medium of development); IT Problem Management - responsible for managing the lifecycle of all problems-WAN/LAN, IT machinery problem prevention/security management. Security of IT Equipment Assist in performing hardware and software installation procedures; Perform software configuration on stand-alone computers and laptops; Provide support in diagnosing hardware and software issues and troubleshooting activities; Assist in handling data migration duties. Facilitate Effective IT Support Assist in hardware and software inventory management; Take user support requests and take measures to fulfil requests; Handle periodic maintenance of hardware and software; Troubleshoot equipment such as printers and scanners and other peripherals; Participate in the development of software applications; Take telephone calls from users and attempt to assist them with their information technology questions and problems and develop incident procedures; Handle IT related documentation and make sure that all IT supplies are available; Provide users with ongoing assistance in their information technology problems; Provide support in setting up end-user training activities. Admin Reporting Monthly Safety status of desktops, laptops from online insecurities; Monthly report on software updates, Office 365, anti-virus, etc Qualifications Recent graduate with a Degree in IT/Computer Science; One-year attachment experience in a reputable organisation
