JOB DESCRIPTION


Role Profile

The incumbent will be responsible for all human resources functions including recruitment and selection, induction and orientation, training and development, performance management, compensation management and oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes.

Kay Job functions

  • Develop and implement HR Strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Support current and future business needs such as the development, engagement, motivation and retention of human capital.
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programmes.
  • Nature a positive working environment.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and related legislation.
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
  • Review and/or ensure the review of the Corporation and the Group’s agreements; contracts and leases.

Requirements of the Job


The successful candidate for this position should meet the following criteria:

  • Proven working experience as Human Resources Manager.
  • Knowledge of the Integrated Results Based Management System.
  • Must be a holder of a Degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Ten (10) years’ work experience in a corporate environment of which 5 years must be as a manager or a senior position.
  • Possession of strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional Membership such as IPMZ.
  • Must have ability to provide guidance, make decisions and interact with all stakeholders with tact, sound judgement; confidence; confidentiality and able to exercise sound discretion where appropriate and allowable.
