Group Marketing Manager
Reporting to: The General Manager
Role Profile
The Group Marketing Manager will be responsible for leading the Group’s marketing and branding efforts. The role is responsible for providing leadership to the department, evaluating and developing marketing strategies, planning and coordinating marketing efforts and strengthening brand awareness; opening up new markets and frontiers; developing new market access relationships; networks and facilitation logistics and arrangements for the Group.
Key Job Functions
- Provide strategic and operational marketing leadership and advice to the Corporation,
- Build cohesive marketing strategies, plans and budgets for the smooth operation of marketing and branding programs;
- Manage and strengthen the Corporation’s brand equity;
- Manage initiatives and strategies to enhance the Corporation’s corporate profile and reputation;
- Identify opportunities for new market segments, expanding market share;
- Continually review market changes, customer tastes and preferences to guide market positioning and new product development;
- Undertake competitor analysis and design innovative marketing strategies accordingly;
- Liaise with marketing and advertising agencies for all marketing projects.
Requirements of the Job
- Bachelors Degree in Marketing or equivalent.
- Professional qualification such as IMM/CIM.
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience in the financial and commercial services sector.
- Proven marketing experience.
- Ability to apply marketing techniques, digital and non-digital channels.
- Solid understanding of market research and data analytical techniques.
- Ability to achieve results through effective people management.
