DUTIES
Recommend approval/acceptance of the new request for credit insurance from both prospective and new and existing customers
Taking decisions on credit applications under the supervision of Senior Underwriters
Evaluating borrowers capacity to repay their financial obligation
Reviewing and verifying financial information to develop buyer/borrower profile
Country/political risk analysis
Conducting research on prospective clients in financial history
Applying underwriting principles and procedures in consideration and acceptance of new risks
ATTEND TO QUERIES FROM POLICYHOLDERS AND BROKERS
Claims processing following laid down procedures
Assist with marketing the company's products and services
QUALIFICATIONS
A degree in risk and insurance or equivalent such as finance or business studies
Computer literate in MS-Office, Excel
Clean Class 4 Drivers License
