Qualifications

• Diploma in Primary Education or its equivalent.
• Bachelor of Education Degree in Early Childhood Development with at least 2.1 pass.
• Master of Education Degree in Early Childhood Development and Child Protection or equivalent with at least a merit.

Duties and responsibilities

The candidate must be capable of supervising students’ research work and should be able to teach at least three (3) of the following modules at undergraduate and post graduate levels.

• Child Protection Conventions, Laws and Policies in ECD
• Child Rights and Social Justice in ECD
• Science, Technology, Mathematics and Innovation in ECD
• Project Planning, Implementation and Evaluation in ECD
• Curriculum Innovation and Industrialisation in ECD
• Cross- Cultural Parenting Systems and Practices in ECD
