Hwedza (5), Goromonzi (5), Marondera (5), Murewa (5) and Seke (5) Districts.
Duties
Duties And Responsibilities
The duties include: - Promotion of forest conservation in the designated areas within the district. Training communities on sustainable forest resource utilization and tobacco wood energy programme. Providing the local Forest Extension Officers with progress reports. Providing technical support to local tree seedling nurseries. Providing support to local Forest Extension Officers for the enhancement of forest extension and regulation.
Qualifications And Experience
Qualifications and Experience The candidate should have the following attributes: 5 O’ Level passes including English Language. Certificate in Forestry/ Agriculture or Environmental Studies. Diploma or Degree will be an added advantage. Good communication skills in English and vernacular languages is a must. Good social skills and the ability to work with local communities, authorities and traditional leadership. Ability to ride a motorbike.
