We value people of integrity, who are committed, diligent and innovative to achieve this mission. The following position of Finance Officer has arisen in the Company.

The overall financial responsibilities include the accurate processing and preparation of financial reports and the implementation of the Company’s accounting systems, policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Processing of the daily settlement trades in accordance with the trading cycle.
  • Perform the daily cash book reconciliations and follow up of any reconciling items.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly business cash flow requirements
  • Prepare accurately and timely the monthly, quarterly and annual management and financial reporting and supporting schedules.
  • Prepare and submission of statutory payments and returns and maintenance of statutory records.
  • Perform physical inspection of the company’s asset register and quarterly physical verification of the Company’s assets.
  • Working with the Finance Director on the annual, interim and quarterly financial reports in accordance
  • with IFRS and ZSE Listing requirements

Qualifications

  • Applicants should be degree qualified in Accounting, Commerce and / or Finance with practical experience in a managerial role
  • Progress towards completion of CA/CIMA/ACCA/CFA

Skills and experience

  • A minimum of one year industrial working experience/attachment
  • Progress towards completion of CA/CIMA/ACCA/CFA
  • Advanced communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Strong strategic thinking capability.
  • Superior financial and commercial acumen.
  • An-entrepreneurial mind set with willingness to research and apply new reporting standards.
  • Credibility with the ability to maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Real team player with requisite skills matched with humility and strong EQ skills.
