Finance Attachment Student

The following vacancies have arisen within the Biomedical Research and Training Institute:

Position: Finance Attachment Student

Duration: 6 months

Location where study activities will be conducted: BRTI offices, 8 Ross Avenue, Belgravia

Position summary

An opportunity has arisen in a new research study, Y-Check, at BRTI, for a Bachelor of Commerce or Bachelor of Accounting student, who requires work experience to fulfil their academic requirements. The finance student on attachment will work together with the research team and finance department to collect, compile and analyse project specific finances.

Responsibilities:

1. Collect, compile and analyse project specific finances

2. Participate in Y-Check team activities

3. Any other duties deemed necessary by the Project Coordinator or Finance Manager

Requirements:

1. Studying towards a BComm or BAcc with industrial attachment as a requirement

2. At least 3 A-Level passes

3. Proficient in Microsoft Office Packages i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

4. High personal motivation and self-management

5. Ability to work with limited supervision and take own initiative
