  1. Expression of Interest (EoI) Design, Development and Maintenance of Website for Youth Engage Closing date for submission of EOI7 August 2020Please send/submit Annexure-1 (Technical Bid) and Annexure-2 (Financial Bid) along with relevant documents .The EOI should be submitted to via Email to :youthengage8@gmail.comwith the following subject line Expression Of Interest: “Youth Engage Website Development, Design, Hosting & Maintenance”1.Background Information Youth Engage (YE) is a grassroots youth focused organization that advocates for the health, well-being and human rights of all young people including young key populations, regardless of faith, race, religion, gender, sex or tribe. We believe in Youth-led, data-driven accountability. The youth-led accountability mechanism that we use focuses on utilizing the collection and analysis of qualitative and quantitative data in national advocacy around access to health services, other health policies and interventions. Our desire is to assist the Government to meet it's objective of realizing the impact of its health programmes at national and global level. Youth Engage is also the ACT !2030 Convener in Zimbabwe, ACT!2030 is a youth-led socialaction initiative which engages young people including young key populations on advocacy and accountability around the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and other SRHRagreements/frameworks.2.EOIObjectives
  2. ●To develop the organizational website ●To provide auser-friendly website by providing latest updates and important upcoming events on the home page itself ●To ensure that the content and navigation on the website is adolescent, girls, young women and youth friendly ●To make the site accessible on all major browsers (e.g.Internet Explorer, MozillaFirefox, Google Chrome, Safari and Opera Mini) Scope of Work The vendor will be responsible for the delivery of software development and design services to support the development of a highly interactive Portal. The scope of work includes but will not be limited to 1.Carry out the technical design, development, testing, implementation and maintenance of the website 2.Provideaccess permissions that enable. Youth Engage to access, modify and upload content. 3.Produce a technical user manual, with a copy of the code and instructions for web updates and maintenance requirements. 4.Test application software for coding errors and potential vulnerabilities prior to deployment. 5.Provide system access for monitoring and analysis of site traffic. 6.Dynamic Photo gallery /Video Management System: Create and facilitate the management of the photo gallery via an administrative control panel in order that ,can add/edit/delete photo gallery categories, and upload new pictures and captions to these categories. 7.Develop a menu Management system to all to add, move, delete and modify menus on the site’8.The raw content for the website will be provided by Youth Engage. However, the selected vendor shall support Youth Engage in refining and structuring the content. Ensure that the Home page displays social media icons(Facebook; Twitter; Instagram). In addition, it should have the following web pages, icons and navigation Home, About us , Vision, Mission, Values Areas of operation, Staff members Board of Trustees, Partners.

Competencies The vendor should have experience in working on cross platforms and in developing and designing creative websites (attach video links to previous work) Ability to respond quickly to the maintenance requirement in the post commissioning phase Awareness on the latest smart technologies for website development Ability to regularly maintain, update the developed website Essential Knowledge and Experience Good information technology skills, with previous experience of website maintenance, management, editing, and/or development Expertise with content-management systems tools and latest trends and technology in dynamic website development. Strong analytical and research skills, including the ability to analyze audiences, attitudes, communications products and messages and to translate them into the design and implementation of effective websites. Final Deliverables Design, Development and implementation of the online web strategy Creation of the website Provision of once a month updates to the website for a12-monthperiod Prompt and proper maintenance of website. Criteria for Evaluation Background and registration of vendor Proven practical paste experience in all stages of website development Previous experience of website maintenance, management and editing of content
  4. Youth Engage requires the vendor to provide frequent face-to-face or online interaction with our team to conceptualize and develop new functionality. This will entail close interaction with the YE Programs Team to explore design conceptualization and functionality demonstration. To qualify for this contract, vendors are required to have a team based in Harare for the duration of the contract. N.B. The final discretion for selection of the Service provider is solely with Youth Engage Terms of Agreement a) The firm or consultant must be registered with Govt of Zimbabwe b) Rates should be quoted inclusive of all applicable taxes. c) All information, document, photos and data coming in the possession of the vendor, as a result of the execution of the job shall at all times remain the property of YouthEngage. d) The vendor shall not make or allow making an unauthorized copy, use, access or other utilization of these materials commercially or otherwise, directly or indirectly except as agreed to by Youth Engage the firm shall also ensure complete confidentiality of the information and data provided to carrying out the job e) The vendor has to complete the job assigned within the joint agreement time and if the job is not completed within the stipulated time, a penalty of 10% of the cost of the uncompleted job for each week will be imposed on the firm. f) Youth Engage will have no liability regarding transportation, boarding and loading of vendor and their staff g) The rate quoted once will remain for that particular dealing. Any Conditions of the vendor sent along with the proposal if any, shall not be binding on Youth Engage. h) Youth Engage reserves the right to accept or reject any or all EoIs without assigning any reason thereof.
