Responsibilities

 Student-centred teaching Master of Education in Design and Technology Production

Systems degree programme with heavy reliance on e-Learning using the University

platforms. This may include campus/online or graduate classes and active engagement with

both the formal and informal industries and similar communities.

 Forging of strong links with industry.

Qualifications, Experience and Attributes

 A PhD degree or equivalent qualifications from a broad range of Mechanical Engineering or

Production Engineering fields.

 Demonstrated experience and competencies in, but not limited to, areas that include:

industrial engineering, industrial manufacturing, product design, mechanics of materials,

materials engineering, machine component design, simulation and applied mechanics,

industry 4.0, robotics, intelligent systems, and digital infrastructure, CAD/CAM design,

innovation, and emerging technologies for business.
