Position Summary
  • Build and drive the 360° marketing plan across all media channels
  • Drive A&P mix optimization
Key Responsibilities
  • Derive and adapt the Global / Regional marketing strategy to maximize local relevancy
  • Define the target consumer profile(s), adapting Global / Regional guidelines to local opportunities
  • Translate local consumer insights into marketing and selling opportunities
  • Define what the Consumer Journey(s) should look like, combining all communication and distribution channels
  • Define the advertising and distribution mix for the upcoming year
  • Work closely with the Retail and Visual Merchandising teams on innovation and continuous improvement of in-store consumer experience
 
  • Contribute to LRP building (in particular A&P lines, with intent to maximize effective consumer-facing spend, and prioritizing shift to digital)
  • Build the 360° marketing plan for the Brand, in coordination with Product Marketing, Trade Marketing and Online teams
  • Define the launch and promotional calendar across all channels, working closely with Product Marketing
 
  • Define the key messages for consumer communication (e.g. benefit messaging)
  • Adapt plan throughout the year depending on sales performance, lately observed trends, competitors’ campaigns and successes
 
  • Drive campaign performance analyses
  • Drive A&P spend allocation; in charge of A&P budget and optimization.
 
  • Perform A&P ROI analyses and improve marketing effectiveness through test and learn approach, with the support of the Corporate Digital Commerce & Marketing division.
 
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Digital Commerce & Marketing division on building effective 360 Consumer Engagement strategies.
Qualifications/Knowledge/Experience  
  • Degree or equivalent working experience in Business and/or Marketing-related disciplines
  • Working experience in CRM, Analytics, and Database Management
  • Innovative and willing to experiment with new concepts and approaches. Comes up with creative solutions to difficult problems. Positive working attitude with strong analytical and quick problem solving skills
  • Experience in project planning, retail marketing execution, and budget management
  • Ability to prepare & deliver presentations, including to senior management
  • Experience and track record in cosmetics and/or retail industry a definite advantage
  • Strong understanding of retail environment and consumer shopping behaviours.
  • Hands on experience with customer related analytic projects and knowledge on how to measure marketing activities and transaction driven
  • Excellent data analytics and customer metrics measurement
  • Working knowledge of computer systems including
  • Microsoft Office 2007/2010 application (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint);
  • SAP
