Qualifications, Experience and Attributes
Applicants must possess the following:
⢠A Bachelorâs Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or
equivalent.
⢠Five Ordinary Level passes including Mathematics and English Language.
⢠Basic PC, Printer and Networking troubleshooting skills.
⢠Keenness to learn, acquire new skills and maintenance of strong working
knowledge of supported systems.
⢠Good diagnostic, analytical and problem solving skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidates would be responsible for:
⢠Building, upgrading, troubleshooting and maintenance of PCs.
⢠Protocol configuration.
⢠Computer peripherals-servicing and repairs.
⢠Internet and email configuration and support.
⢠Anti-virus software and installation.
⢠Performing daily back-ups and recovery strategies.
⢠Maintaining hardware inventory records.
⢠Processing requests from user department to run specified applications
⢠Making sure that routing programs are successfully run to completion
⢠Assisting students in registration and other software that they use on their
day to day business.
⢠Supervision of all computer laboratory practicals.
⢠Any other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
