We are currently looking for a solid Compensation and Benefits Specialist with solid experience and knowledge to provide support to the Tsebo International division on all compensation, benefits functions and payroll analytics. Liaise with benefit providers and provide support in managing relationships and required changes.

The purpose of the Compensation and Benefits Specialist role is to manage the integrity and accuracy of information processed on the Company’s employee rostering and attendance system in compliance company policies and procedures. Manage the Compensation and Benefits Shared Services administrative responsibility to ensure all systems - HR - data is up to date and is efficient and effective in the support is provided to the Tsebo International Division. Processing of data to run an accurate and timeous payroll. As the successful incumbent you will have had expertience woring with the Rest of Africa and managed an expatriate population within your current responsibilities.

Duties & Responsibilities• Review and oversee Employee benefits

• Review, update and monitor the Performance Management process in line with policy for the business

• Management of International Assignments and Expats

• Ensure accurate and timeous processing of engagements, transfers, promotions, demotions, personal employee information changes, terminations, etc

• Conduct quality checks to determine accurate data capturing –audit checks on data captured by the HR Team

• Maintain and capture data for all Management positions

• Generate monthly analysis for HRD, CEO and FD

• Action any corrective measures

• Provide insightful analysis to the HRD, CEO and FD on any comps and bens matters

• Conduct internal HR audits with the HRD, give feedback to regions and ensure corrective action

• Create company structures for new sites and positions

• Create positions for sites, keeping to contract headcount and requirements

• Capture and maintain data for all management positions

• Keep aligned to legislative amendments and inform the business

• Manage bonus payment and all review processes, ensuring accuracy and timeous payment

• Liaise with regions and ensure compliance with REMCO guidelines and timelines

• Recommend ways to keep up to date with comps and bens trends

• Constantly review company policies, practices and recommend best practice changes to EXCO and Group

• Ensure salaries payments are effected accurately and timeously

• Verification of all salary related payments to ensure all calculations are correct

• Ensure all final payment for terminated employees are calculated correctly, as well as managing the terminated of medical aid, provident fund etc

• Liaise with relevant parties to ensure customized payroll reports are produced

• Ensure that the claim process effectively and efficiently managed on time

Skills and Competencies• South African payroll knowledge and legislation

• Payroll system knowledge (Educos Vision is advantageous)

Qualifications• Matric / Grade 12

• Degree/ diploma in payroll administration

• Degree/ diploma Business Administration, Accounting, Human Resources or related field; professional certification

• Minimum 5 years’ work experience in a similar position

• Member of SA Payroll Association (6-month course)

• Member of SARA
