Requirements Qualifications: •CA or actuary or •CERA, or another Post graduate Risk Management qualification •Even if CA or actuary, strong preference to have or to get CERA qualification Experience: •At least 5 years in insurance •At least 5 years in risk management / internal audit / audit / compliance •Ability to manage team of professionals •Experience in coordinating across teams (internal or external)out the •Strong written and verbal reporting skills & experience to Board Committees and/or Exco’s of a large company or to clients Knowledge: •Risk management global bets practices •Strong knowledge of insurance products, financials, actuarial aspects •Ability to absorb feedback and numbers from ‘core’ actuarial team (similar to what’s required form board members) •Governance dynamics, creation and use of governance tools and instruments •Role of IT in financial services, and associated unique risks •Insurance legislation and regulations, ERM best practices, King, etc.
