Position Summary

One of the mandates of FHI 360’s USAID Zimbabwe HIV Care and Treatment (ZHCT) and the Determined, Resilient, Empowered, AIDS-free, Mentored and Safe (DREAMS) projects is to build the technical and organizational capacity of the newly established local organization, the Zimbabwe Health Interventions (ZHI). This includes strengthening their ability to respond to solicitations and manage donor awards as a prime. A recent Organizational Capacity Assessment (OCA) identified budgeting and costing as areas for capacity strengthening. This consultancy is designed to train and mentor ZHI staff in developing budgets and cost volumes for USAID proposals.

Qualifications and Experience

The individual(s)/organisation should have the following prerequisite requirements: 7+ years demonstrated experience in developing budget and cost volumes for USAID and other donors; 5+ years’ continuous experience in assisting and training organisations to respond to business and commercial volume requirements for USAID and other donors; In-depth knowledge of USAID rules and regulations; Degree in finance, social sciences, or equivalent discipline.
