Type of contract: Fixed term duration with a three month probation period

Immediate Supervisor: Logistics Supervisor

Starting Date: January, 2021

Objective of the post

To be responsible for the daily Logistics activities and providing maintenance to the MSF equipment, facilities and infrastructures according to MSF standards and protocols..

Educational and professional background

Essential diploma level of a technical nature (Logistics/Transport Management desirable); Essential working experience Minimum 2 years in a similar post; Working Experience with an International NGO in an Inter-cultural context is an advantage; Required languages - English and local languages (written and spoken); Is proactive and has organizational skills – able to establish priorities and follow-up plans; Successful experience as supervisor is an asset.

Requirements

IT Knowledge - Good knowledge of Windows, MS Office, Data and Outlook troubleshooting & fixing network support; Follow up the management and supervision of maintenance and rehabilitation works in the offices and the health facilities; Responsible for the management and maintenance of all Communication, IT, office, energy and cold chain materials; Expected to be the focal support person in the team regarding logistics needs in the different departments & locations of the project; Ensure a good preparation and a rapid logistics reaction in case of emergency outbreak; Ensure a good supervision of the drivers; Ensures correct logistics management of vehicle, fuel consumption, equipment maintenance Proven ability working in partnership with CoH, MoHCC and other stakeholders; Working experience with NGO is an asset, especially in a similar or related role.
