Our client, a multi-national technology and services company looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager to support the defined sales strategy and customers throughout the sales process in their respective area.
Responsibilities:
- Increase new and existing business by supporting the sales organization to have relevant knowledge of products and markets.
- Goal setting and sales planning for assigned area.
- Ensures efficient marketing areas e.g. product lunches
- Supports the local sales organization and preparation of demanding offers.
- Post-sales support – Takes ownership of specific customer cases to ensure customer issues are resolved.
- Reporting on sales activities and training.
- Degree in Electric or Electronic engineering or equivalent
- 10 years’ experience in customer relationships and sales in the utility environment (Experience in SADC desirable)
- Experience working with cross-country teams in the areas of Power Grids and Transformers.
- Be willing to travel
