Accounts Receivables Analyst

Job Description

As an Accounts Receivable Analyst, you will be responsible for the following activities :

Processing customer payments

• Booking customer payments done in Stanchart, Stanbic, Ecobank, Cabs, Banc ABC, & Nedbank (USD) bank accounts
• Following up and clearing on unallocated deposits for above mentioned banks weekly
• Raising adjustments journals for errors done on receipting

Price input in SAP

• Input of prices into SAP as instructed by Commercial team.
• Sending price memos to Dispatch for quotations.
• Filing of price input memos.

Customer due diligence

• Recording and tracking of customer due diligences monthly.

Attending to customer queries

• Responding to queries raised from both internal and external customers with regards to payments.

Filing

• Clear filing of customer creation and update forms.

Context and environment

Zimbabwe is going through time of extraordinary socio-economic and political changes. The scarcity of hard currency is strongly affecting industry and the overall energy market and will remain a challenge for some years. Prompt processing of customer payments and adjustments to enable timeous delivery of product to customers and efficient response to queries from customers, is paramount to the business.

Candidate profile

As an Accounts Receivable Analyst, ideally you will possess the following :

• Bachelor of Accounting /Business degree
• Professional Qualification (e.g. CIS, ACCA, CIMA)
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
