Reports to the Executive Officer Finance.
Qualifications, Experiences and Competencies
Higher National Diploma in Accounting or Part ‘C’ CIS,ACCA or CIMA; Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is an added advantage; Knowledge in Pastel Partner or Sage Evolution Accounting Packages or qualification in IT; Ability to communicate effectively; Ability to work effectively, both independently and within a team; Ability to handle pressure and work with minimum supervision; At least 2 years’ experience in public accounting.
Duties and Responsibilities
Bookkeeping and clerical; Maintain the creditors’ database; Data capturing and production of monthly expenditure reports; Assisting with preparation of year end accounts; Preparations of bills and statements; Assisting with audit preparations; Conducts invoice matching and initiates payment runs; Prepare account reconciliations and supporting documentation as requested; Assist with payroll functions.
