Accountant Duties And Responsibilities KEY ACTIVITIES OF THE JOB. * Develop, implement and manage financial systems and policies, * Maintain financial security by adhering to internal controls, * Risk analysis and internal controls, * Prepare business plans, financial statements, budgets and reports, * Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts, * Product costing and variance analysis, * Prepare year-end closings, * Administer accounts receivable and accounts payable, * Prepare tax computations and returns, * Payroll administration, * Monitor and resolve bank issues including fee anomalies and check differences, Review and process expense reports. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE. * A Degree/HND in Accounting or related ; * At least 3 years relevant experience working in a similar environment and at the same level; A Professional qualification in accountancy such as OS; SAAA; ACCA will be an added advantage. OTHER REQUIREMENTS/ COMPETENCES. * Ability to work according to strict deadlines; * A highly organized, task oriented and analytical character with impeccable interpersonal communication skills; "Excellent report writing skills; * Must be a team player; * Accuracy.
