Description :
Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following among other duties: –
Assembling/ joining components of coffins and caskets.
Applying veneer finish or paint on coffins and caskets.
Trimming the inside of coffins and caskets, and lacing.
Fitting handles to coffins and caskets.
The Person
The ideal candidate must possess the following:
A minimum of 5 Ordinary Level subjects
Certificate in Wood Technology/Carpentry o Two (2) years’ experience in furniture manufacturing as a Joiner.
Coffin manufacturing experience is an added advantage.
Good communication skills
Results oriented
Ability to work under pressure
