Notice To All Zimbabweans Who Need USA Visas From The US Embassy

The U.S. Embassy in Zimbabwe will resume limited processing of F-1, M-1, and B1/B2 visas that are eligible for a waiver of the in-person interview requirement.
In order to qualify for a waiver of the in-person interview, the following must be true:
- I have a previous U.S. visa in the same class as the visa for which I wish to apply.
- My most recent visa was issued in Harare.
- My visa has been expired for less than 24 months.
- My most recent visa, in the same class for which I am applying, was not lost/stolen or cancelled.
- If I am applying for an F visa, am continuing as a student at the same school or major for which my previous visa was issued.
J-1 au pair, intern, trainee, summer work and travel, teacher, and camp counsellor J-1 visas are currently suspended by Presidential Proclamation and cannot be interviewed. (Depending on staffing and demand, we may also interview applicants for E, I, O and P visas).
Appointment Scheduling
If you fall into one of the visa categories listed above, please contact us at ConsularHarare@state.gov in order to make an appointment.
The purpose of your intended travel and other facts will determine what type of visa is required under U.S. immigration law. As a visa applicant, you will need to establish that you meet all requirements to receive the category of visa for which you are applying.
