Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate nurse to provide professional nursing care to a designated patient population in either an inpatient or outpatient setting, depending on the area of speciality. Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering direct nursing care and ensuring the well-being of patients.
- Assisting physicians during examinations and treatments by preparing equipment and offering support during procedures.
- Evaluating both new and existing patients to assess treatment priorities and recommend necessary adjustments to care plans.
- Administering prescribed medications, applying sterile dressings, performing phlebotomy, and monitoring vital signs.
- Maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of patient records.
- Managing and operating medical devices and equipment safely, responding to alarms, and identifying potential risks.
- Performing specialized nursing procedures based on the unique needs of the patient population.
- Supervising and guiding the work of other nursing and support staff.
- Ensuring that patients receive compassionate, ethical, and high-quality care.
- Providing education, counseling, and support to both patients and their families.
- Adhering to established standards of care, policies, procedures, and regulations, including those set by the State Board of Nursing and the facility.
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to assess, treat, and monitor patient conditions.
- Performing various procedures, including injections, catheterizations, and managing vascular access devices.
- Evaluating patients’ adherence to treatment plans and reporting test results as necessary.
- Promoting health and preventive care through health education initiatives.
- Assisting with other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, with in-depth knowledge in the required specialty.
- Proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered care approach.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues.
Specialities Required: Dialysis, PICU, ICU, NICU, Medical-Surgical Ward, OR, Cath Lab, Endoscopy, ER, Labor & Delivery (L&D)
