We are seeking a Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) Officer to join our team in Nigeria!
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all MEAL activities for assigned projects.
- Develop and implement MEAL frameworks and plans.
- Design, test, and roll out data collection tools, analyze data, and ensure proper data storage and reporting.
- Contribute to capacity building of project staff on MEAL best practices.
- Represent Young Africa International at MEAL-related events and networks.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (Operations Research, Monitoring & Evaluation, etc.) with experience (minimum 2-4 years)
- Strong understanding of research methodologies (quantitative and qualitative)
- Experience with data collection, analysis, and visualization
- Excellent communication, writing, presentation, and facilitation skills
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks
- Strong cultural awareness and ability to work in a multicultural environment
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Knowledge of additional software (MS Access, IATI, Salesforce, etc.) a plus
- Fluency in English is required
