With only five days left, The World Bank Group (WBG) Education Global Practice and the Africa Chief Economist Office are inviting master’s degree holders, Ph.D. candidates, and recently graduated Ph.D.s candidates from Sub-Saharan Africa to apply for the 2022 WBG-Africa Education Fellowship Programme.

WBG-Africa Education Fellows will spend six months gaining hands-on experience at WBG headquarters in Washington, D.C., or country offices.

- Early Childhood Education;
- Secondary Education (general and TVET);

- Curriculum and Instructional Design;

- Other related fields, i.e.Economics, Public Policy, Human Development, or Social Sector, STEM and other related areas.
Candidate Requirements

The WBG-Africa Education Fellowship Programme targets:
- Young, talented Sub-Saharan Africa nationals;
- Master’s degree holders with three to four years of relevant experience;
- Final year Ph.D. candidates or recent graduates (within three years of Ph.D. completion) in an area relevant to the World Bank’s work in the Education sector;
- Have good proficiency in English;
- Possess strong quantitative and analytical skills;
- Be under the age of 32 by 28 February 2022;
- Young African women are encouraged to apply, especially those interested in Education Technology.
