Human Resources Assistant
WHO Zimbabwe looking for Human Resources Assistant. Applicants with a degree in secondary school may apply on or before Oct. 27, 2022.
Qualification:
- Work requires completion of secondary school. Knowledge of general administrative and HR Policy theory and procedures.
- Training in UN/HR systems is an advantage. Proven skills in drafting and editing required.
- At least 8 years of experience in Human Resources and preferably with several years experience in WHO in an administrative cluster to have a sound knowledge of its rules, regulation, procedures and practices as related to the work.
- Experience in other areas such as Administration, Programme Management, Travel and Procurement would be an asset.
- Work requires maintaining up to date knowledge on any changes to Staff Regulations and Rules as well as standard operating procedures. The incumbent is also expected to maintain computer skills including skills Global Management System, to the standard of the Organization by self study or in-house training. Knowledge of WHO rules, regulations, policies and practices would be an asset.

WHO Finance Officer Jobs 2022
The WHO has published a job vacancy announcement on Oct. 12, 2022 for qualified South Africa’s to fill in the vacant post of Finance Officer to be based in Pretoria, South Africa.
Eligibility Criteria:
- University degree in Accounting Management sciences, Business or Public Administration or Finance. For WHO staff only, equivalent professional training or self-study/work experience.
- An advanced university degree (Masters level or above) in business administration, finance, accounting, public administration, or related field. Professional qualification or licensure in Accounting/Accountancy, certification as CPA or Chartered Accountant will be an advantage.
- Five (5) years professional experience at national or international level in finance, program planning and/or budget/accounting activities. Demonstrated experience in accounting and consolidation of financial data using ERP systems or similar packages.
- Experience in WHO, other UN agencies, international or multinational organizations.
