Job Brief
Wetility is seeking a Junior Accountant to contribute to the overall efficient operation of the Finance Department.
The Junior accountant must be well-versed in accounting principles and able to work comfortably with numbers and attention to detail.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
- To ensure all expenses are uploaded to Dext with supporting documentation
- To update accounts receivable and issue invoices
- To update accounts payable and perform the required reconciliations
- Assist the Finance Manager in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements
- To assist with reviewing expenses as assigned
- To update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needeD
- Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports to the Finance Manager
- To assist with any other finance projects, as required

Requirements and Qualifications:
- Degree in Accounting
- Excellent knowledge of MS OfficE
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Great understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
- Prioritising and time management
- Ability to work under strict deadlines
- Must be a team player
