The video is a massive reminder of where we have been with this particular Soapie and shows how many faces we know on TV are right in front of our eyes.

The video features Sindi Dlathu, who played the character of Thandaza, now known as the coldest B*tch on The River, Lindiwe Dikana.

It also features Dieketseng Mnisi, who is now famous for playing the role of MaNtuli and Elizabeth Serunye, known as Principal Thobakgale on Skeem Saam, Mpho Tshedu, who took over the part of Edward Mukwevho from Glen Lewis and the late Lindiwe Chibi who portrayed the role of Doobsie beautifully on the show.

The show was a hit topic those days for the fantastic stories tackled—these stories resonated with many people who face everyday challenges of love, poverty, betrayal and disloyalty.

In the video, the Doobsies family has come to report her pregnancy to the Vha-Kwevho Royals, and the news is unwelcome because the baby’s father is Edward, who is married to Thandaza.

Edward is the son of Mashudu and Azwindini’s stepbrother.
Mashudu was married to Masindi but met Catherine in Johannesburg, married her and gave her a son, Edward Mukwevho.

Edward falls in love with Thandaza but makes a big mistake when he meets Doobsie, and she becomes pregnant.

Tendai Patrick Mulaudzi portrayed Rashitanga Mukwevho, who was Mashudu’s irritable brother.

The scene has Mzansi in stitches, and many cannot believe how far these actors have come.

Lindiwe Chibi, who played the crazy Doobsie, passed on in 2007 after a shooting incident that left her unable to walk and speak.

The talented Khabonina Qubeka replaced her.

The fight between Doobsie and Thandaza became one of the most prominent storylines on Muvhango.

Jacobeth, MaNtuli and Lindiwe Dikana are now the reigning Queens on our screens in South Africa.
