(b) University Service and Community engagement – the incumbent should participate in all Department, Faculty/School and University activities such as attending meetings, training workshops, conferences and seminars, among others. (c) Research – the incumbent is expected to engage in active research in his/her area of specialization which benefits both the students and the University. (d) Innovations – leading to tangible products and services (e) Industrialisation –through commercialisation of products FACULTY OF BUSINESS SCIENCES Department of Supply Chain, Insurance and Risk Sciences (Risk Management and Insurance) (Harare) 3 Posts – Staff Development Fellow Qualifications

  • First Degree in Insurance and Risk Management or equivalent with a 1st class pass.

Duties & Responsibilities The candidate must be able to teach at least two (2) of the following modules: Life and Health Insurance, Reinsurance, Accounting and Financial Management in Insurance, Theory of Risk and Insurance, Property and Pecuniary Insurance, Retirement Funding, Insurance Law, Liability Insurance, Claims Management. *NB:   Midlands State University is an equal opportunities employer.
