MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEMS ASSISTANT (MISA) (3)

Responsibilities:

Data collection and capturing into the OVC MIS (DHIS2)

Qualification and Experience:
  • A Degree in Information Systems / Computer Science
  • Experience in OVC MIS DHIS2 is a must
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office operations and packages.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience with OVC-MIS database system.
  • Ability to produce high quality reports.
  • Experience working with teams
  • MISA will maintain proper security of all data, securing systems from unauthorized internal and external access paying attention to database management

Vacancy : MONITORING EVALUATION AND LEARNING OFFICER (MELO)

Responsibilities:

The MELO will report to the Monitoring Evaluation and Learning Advisor, compile monthly reports to USAID on the OVC four domains of Health, Safe, Education and Stable. The MELO will also design, implement, and monitor performance of MV accountability to communities and stakeholders through increased participation, transparent communication, responsive feedback mechanisms, and adherence to internal and external quality standards and requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Relevant degree in Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning or Social Sciences
  • Experience in OVC MIS DHIS2 is a must
  • Five years’ work experience in M&E, preferably in PEPFAR/USAID on HIV and OVC Program
  • Experience in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
  • Experience in data analysis and data management
  • Must be a holder of a clean class 4 driver’s licence.

HEALTH ADVISOR

Responsibilities:

The incumbent will provide health expertise to Cluster 1 consortium partners and advise on strategies to improve access to HIV care and treatment services for children, adolescents, and youth living with HIV.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Diploma or Degree in Nursing or Public Health,
  • Experience in HIV programming
  • •At least 5-7 years traceable experience in implementing health activities in OVC programming
  • Knowledge of evidence-based violence prevention models is an added advantage
  • Certified LIVES trainer is desirable.
  • Experience in training and facilitation in community-based care settings
  • A self-starter with ability to work under work pressure
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
  • Must be a holder of a clean class 4 driver’s licence.
