Uzalo Writers Under Fire For Bad And Unoriginal Storylines
Even though it ranks as one of SA’s most watched soapies on the first spot , Uzalo has left a lot to be desired.
Since last year, Uzalo has received a lot of flak for boring storylines, underpaying actors and the unceremonious writing off, of characters.
Uzalo fans have once again taken to social media to complain about the poor writing on the show, saying the writers are just not cutting it.
Recently, old characters like GC and Thobile came back on the soapie in a bid to shake things up, but this is turning out to be a high sounding nothing.

“Uzalo is trying shem but they need to understand that it’s not about the cast but the writers. We need an interesting resonating storyline”

Uzalo has also seen a mass exodus of some of their main actors, who either left for other TV shows or they were simply written out.
Siyabonga Shibe who plays Qhabanga, Baby Cele who plays Gabisile, Dawn Thandeka King who plays MaNgcobo and Jet Novuka who plays Captain Mbampani have all left the show.
Looks like the writers have a lot of work to do.
