Which University should I apply to?
Soon after A ‘Level, so many youths have faced the dilemma of choosing a college to apply to. Some had ended up being enrolled in universities not ideal for them due to what they think are good reasons. Well below are some of the reasons that can help you choose a university to apply to.
Your career
What is your career? What do you want to be in the next coming 5 or 6 years? These are some of the questions one should ask him/ her self before choosing a university. After you had identified your career chose the programme that suits your career. BSc Accounting, Economics, Banking and Financing or Financial Law if you have a passion for monetary aspect. All this will help you choose a college that is viable for you. After identifying the programme you want to pursue to find a college that offers the programme and the application there.
Affordability
After making clear decisions about your career consider your pocket or the person whose going to pay for your tuition. This is important in choosing a college to apply to. Some universities are expensive some are cheap yet offering the same degrees. If you are well sure that you can afford the fees required by Africa University well why not apply there but if u can then do not waste you parents’ time e or pressor them with expensive tuitions.
The impact of the Degree offered
Universities may be offering the same degree but trust me their impact in earning you a job on the labour market varies. Do your research and find out which college is the most recognised and the impact of the programmes they offer. Do not risk perusing a program with a university that is not recognised in any way. The reason why most of us go to college is so that we get a proper suitable or ideal employment so do not risk your chances of getting a job by studying with an unrecognised college
Disability
This is one area that some people with disability will only look at after they have already applied. You need to consider whether the university you want to apply to have the facilities that carter for your condition. Fortunate enough most universities are considering the people with different disabilities
Entry requirements
One thing that will help you choose a university to apply too is the entry requirements of the programme that you want. Universities have different entry requirement for the same programme, for example, the University of Zimbabwe’s entry requirement of Law is different from this of Midlands State University and Great Zimbabwe State University. You need to choose a university with entry requirements that suit qualifications. This saves you from wasting your money on application form fee.
