- A flexible start date from 1 July 2023.
- Assignments available in Baghdad, Basra, Dohuk, or Erbil.
- Internship duration between 3 to 6 months.
- Monthly stipend provided by UNICEF.
Requirements for Application
To be eligible for the UNICEF Iraq Internship Programme, you should meet the following requirements:
- Enrolled in a university degree program (undergraduate or graduate) or be a recent university graduate (within the last two years).
- Studying fields related to international development, human rights, education, economics, statistics, public health, public administration, water and sanitation engineering, psychology, sociology, international law, social science, communication, journalism, public relations, business administration, finance, supply chain management, information technology, or human resources.
- Strong academic performance as demonstrated by recent university records or a reference letter from an academic supervisor.
- No immediate relatives (e.g., father, mother, brother, sister) working with UNICEF.
- Knowledge of relevant computer systems and applications, including MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Fluency in English.
