Truworths is inviting South Africans with disabilities to apply for their 2023 Learnship programme. Successful applicants will be cross-trained to operate on a retail outlet’s sales floor and service desk. The key focus area will be working with customers and stock.
One must be committed and willing to learn as well as complete logbooks. They must always be prepared for assessments and be trained sales consultants.
Responsibilities of the interns:
- Should be able to work a minimum of 120 hours
- Learn to complete logbooks and form knowledge
- Help customers find merchandise
- Prepare for assessments
- Payments and purchases on the POS system
- Merchandising the store according to the MBP principles
- Maintaining customer safety and security
- Building relationships with customers
- Controlling and maintaining stock
Requirements to apply:
- Must have at least Grade 10
- Passion for retail and fashion
