Tour Guide Course JANUARY 2025 Intake – Now Open for Registration with Job Placement Opportunities!

We are excited to announce that registration for our January 2025 Tour Guide Course is now open, offering guaranteed job placement upon completion. Our newly opened branch in Mutare is ready to welcome students for this comprehensive 6-month program.

Course Overview

Throughout the course, you’ll cover four key modules:

  1. Law
  2. Firearms
  3. General Paper
  4. Habits and Habitats

Upon completion, you’ll be placed in a job, with opportunities in a wide range of sectors, including National Parks, Travel Agencies, Safari companies, and Safari lodges.

Course Formats

We offer both in-person and online lessons. No “O” Levels are required to enroll.

Fees (Payable in Installments)

  • Face-to-Face Lessons:
    • Registration Fee: $15
    • Full Tuition: $180
  • Online Lessons:
    • Registration Fee: $15
    • Full Tuition: $180

Registration is currently open and will close on 15 December 2024. Places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Practical Training

Our hands-on training includes:

  • Shooting practice
  • Bushlife experience
  • Client management during tours
  • Learning about Zimbabwe’s rich heritage and culture

After completing the course, you’ll sit for exams under the Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority in September 2025. The exam fee is $200, payable in mid-August 2025.

Upon passing, you’ll receive a guide licence authorizing you to work across various sectors such as National Parks, Safari lodges, and more.

Anti-Poaching Training

Our program also offers Anti-Poaching Training, equipping you with skills to assist with wildlife protection and client safety. You’ll learn:

  • Tracking techniques
  • Wildlife security
  • Handling poachers and robbers

This training culminates in a certificate that qualifies you to become an Anti-Poaching Manager.

LPH (Learner Professional Hunter & Guides) Requirements

  • A certified copy of your ID/Passport
  • Must be Zimbabwean
  • A first aid certificate is required before the final exam (can be acquired during the course).
