The New York Academy of Sciences ( 1000 Girls, 1000 Futures Program)

Great News The New York Academy of Sciences is pleased to announce the “1000 Girls, 1000 Futures” program designed to engage young women interested in science, technology, engineering and Math (STEM).

The New York Academy of Sciences, therefore, invites young women ages 13-17 around the world to receive mentorship from female STEM experts, gain access to college readiness and leadership coursework and network with other girls passionate about STEM.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants for the New York Academy of Sciences 1000 Girls, 1000 Futures Program are to meet the following criteria:

  • Be a young woman interested in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).
  • Be between 13-17 years of age.
  • Demonstrate excellent academic abilities.
  • Possess excellent communication skills.
