Cast of new ensemble reality show
Nandipha Mlombi, Phume Khetang, Anietie Ezeimo, Adeola Da Costa-Ayo and Innocent Sadiki star in Pastors’ Wives
Produced by Sonia Mbele, the show debut Friday on new DSTV channel, HONEY.
We’re still not sure what the premise of the show is about, but we are sure that it will focus on the women married to pastors and their lifestyles.
Innocent Sadiki’s hubby Phindulo Sadiki, is a pastor and businessman and the couple have 2 kids together.
The two got married in 2010 when she was only 22 and have managed to hold the fort for a solid 10 years.
Innocent Sadiki is also quite apprehensive on how people, especially those in their church will receive the new show.
I’m extremely worried about how people from our church are going to receive this. I know my Christian people. I know that every week we are going to be crucified.
“Being an actor is a lot for many of them and people don’t expect you to have a normal life. There are curiosities like, ‘are you sitting at home the entire day praying for us?’ But we have lives and that’s not going to sit well with people.”
As fans, we are wondering if they’re going to go The Real Housewives route, or it’s going to resemble long sessions of prayer meetings for the ladies, in case they upset the church going folks.
