Calling All Experienced Enumerators!
RMI is seeking 200 dedicated individuals to join our dynamic team as enumerators. You will play a critical role in collecting high-quality data across various provinces and districts in Zimbabwe. We offer short-term assignments on a variety of projects exploring topics like education, agriculture, gender, health, and more.
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct face-to-face, online interviews, and focus groups
- Accurately enter data in a timely manner
- Maintain strong ethical standards throughout your work
- Work independently and collaboratively as needed
- Attend project-specific training sessions to ensure your understanding of the research goals and methods
- Conduct household surveys in assigned areas, ensuring complete and representative data
- Review your completed surveys for accuracy before submission
- Maintain clear communication with field supervisors and project managers
- Work with local authorities when necessary to facilitate smooth survey implementation
- Transcribe interview recordings (if assigned)
- Participate in daily debriefing sessions and after-action reviews
- Uphold data security and confidentiality throughout the research process
Who We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in quantitative and qualitative data collection
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and relevant local languages
- Ability to travel and work flexibly
- Adaptability and ability to work effectively under pressure
- Clean criminal record
- Respectful and culturally sensitive with a strong sense of security awareness
- Minimum of a first degree in a relevant field such as education, agriculture, gender studies, nutrition, public health, statistics, economics, or energy
- At least 3 years of experience as an enumerator
- Familiarity with data collection platforms like KoBo Collect, ODK, Survey Solutions, Survey ToGo, SurveyCTO, mWater, Tangerine, and Survey Monkey
