
Humanitarian Consortium Coordinator
Plan International seeks a Humanitarian Consortium Coordinator to lead a collaborative effort among 9 INGOs in Zimbabwe. The position will focus on enhancing preparedness and response to humanitarian challenges, particularly climate change and the anticipated El Niño.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and align activities across consortium partners.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for consortium members and stakeholders.
- Develop and implement comprehensive project work plans.
- Foster strong relationships and collaboration among consortium members.
- Ensure efficient use of project funds and compliance with donor regulations.
- Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks.
- Prepare regular progress reports and maintain accurate records.
- Facilitate knowledge exchange and manage consortium public profiles.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in international development, public policy, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in development, advocacy, or network management.
- Strong understanding of the Zimbabwean development landscape and policy environment.
- Proven experience in building and managing collaborative relationships.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong conceptualization, writing, editing, and research skills.
- Experience with project management methodologies.
- Fluency in English.

- Experience with online collaboration platforms and databases.
- Grant writing and resource mobilization experience.
- Advocacy and policy experience.
- Understanding of nexus programming.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
