Nellie Tembe, AKA’s Fiancé Reported Dead After Jumping From 10th Floor
Rumour has it that AKA’s soon to be married girlfriend, Nellie Tembe mysteriously died on Sunday morning after falling from a 10th-floor window at a hotel in Cape Town.
This, a week after he paid lobola for her.
Unconfirmed reports on social media have claimed that Nellie Tembe committed suicide.
The reported death comes after the Western Cape Police spokesperson Captain Frederick van Wyk also confirmed that there was indeed a suicide case under investigation on Sunday 11 April.
He, however, did not state if the said 22-year-old woman was Nellie Tembe or not.
“Cape Town central police are investigating an inquest case after an incident at a hotel this morning at about 7:45 on the corners of Loop and Bloem streets in the Cape Town CBD where the body of a 22-year-old woman was found deceased,” a statement read.
Social media claims that the incident happened at the same hotel where the rapper and his fiance has gone for their friend’s celebration over the weekend.

While details are still unclear over the circumstances leading to her said death; netizens have revealed that there was trouble in paradise between the newly engaged couple.
A week ago, AKA paid lobola for Nellie just a few weeks after popping the big question.
The seemingly love-smitten Nellie also confirmed their lobola by taking to Instagram in celebration.
iHarare reports that Nellie’s alleged death hasn’t been confirmed by family members or anyone close to her. For now, only unconfirmed rumours are spreading on social media.
